Great place for a walk!

Walking area with lots of trees and other greenery! Nice and quiet place for a morning jog and evening walk!

Most reviews give this place 5 stars. I don't get it. Most businesses are vacant/closed. The Briny Irish Pub was the only thing open on a Saturday night. Very cool atmosphere but very average food. The Pirate Republic was across the river. We walked across the bridge to have a drink. The river walk on that side ends before the... More

Had a very nice walk along the Riverfront. Enjoyed the museum and the restaurants. Great parking and handicap access.

It was a nice breezy day and my wife and I decided to go for the first Sunday of the month Jazz Riverwalk. We did not bring chairs or picnic food, knowing we were just going to walk and listen and move on. However, I highly recommend that you do. The jazz was great. There are three separate areas where... The best place in Ft L for a walk. Upmarket, safe, clean, and interesting to see all the boats large and small. There are plenty of good places to eat, stop for a coffee, or sit and enjoy the pedestrian scenery.

Not much to see, but worth a stroll. Also a very old kind of bridge. Some restaurants are there, but didn't eat at any, but also bars.

I wound up at the Riverwalk only because my daughter and I were doing the Puzzling Adventures there. Just like the other two visits, the buildings are mostly vacant with signs to be leased. They seem to be building a train, so that may change eventually. For now, if you are visiting Fort Lauderdale, don't waste your time, there are... More

The river walk is nice but there are hardly any shops. Most of the buildings are vacant and are for sale or lease. There is a bit of graffiti as well. If you are there to see the river, yachts, and learn history about Fort Lauderdale then it's great. Otherwise it's a bit lacking.
