My husband and I attended a presentation on Shore Birds at the pavilion at the Gamble Rogers State Recreation Area. I think the Ranger who worked with us was Angel. He was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. It was a combination...More

Enjoyed 4 days at GRSP, the grounds were clean, bathrooms and showers kept up, and the best part, NO FIRE ANTS at our site. Walked around barefoot during the entire visit. I big plus for me when I normally where dress shoes during the work...More

Moving to Palm Coast in a year. We are checking out the area and stopped here on our tour of the area. Very nice area across A1A from the beach. Nice quiet area to relax and take a stroll on the short trail. Great area.

This is another of Florida's finest, sparkling clean, nice big lots, rangers and volunteers are the best, we stayed at the river side and the beach side, both have their advantages but both are winner's!

My husband I went to a class that was on how to crab in the area. Great class, we learned a lot and got to use traps, etc, first hand after the class was over.

Our favorite beach campground that is oh SO hard to get a reservation at. They have two campgrounds: one beach and one river; both are nice but the beach campground is so easy to have beach fun without having to get in the car. The...More

We've been here several times, it's right on the beach. Very limited space and you have to be a stalker to get a reservation. Because of the location, it's very popular. Clean beaches and campsites. Some of the northeast campsites are shielded by palmettos, which...More

We are a family of 3 non "outdoorsy" people. We visited the park on a beautiful sunny afternoon and took a short hike along the trial. Only when we saw the signs for wildlife we might encounter did we wish we had worn more appropriate...More

I only go to the beach side, so I don't know how the rest is, but this part is lovely. Nice facilities with bathrooms and showers. Costs $5 to park here. It is never too crowded. However, the boardwalks down to the beach were damaged...More

A group of 10 of us went out. We loved it! We kayaked through narrow waterways and open water. The highlight of our adventure was when a group of dolphins decided to join us and boy did they put on a show! We could have... More

We were camped just down from that site recently - not sure about that exact number. However, the park is really a beautiful place. We would go back in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Not that I know of, Deborah. As I recall, our 21' Roadtrek was the smallest thing beachside, and I remember much larger rigs there. Also seems there were two turn-arounds at each end of the camping area. Have safe and fun... More
