My husband and I both love visiting different forts and since he is in the Army we made it a priority to go. The ladies at the Welcome Center spoke really highly of the Fort, as well. The drive through the park was so beautiful...More

This is a wonderful state park, one of the best in the state. The fort itself is a wonderful example of Civil War forts with center yard, guard houses, cannons, etc. The beach area is spectacular and unspoiled, just like it would have been back...More
