Beach open past 5 pm

This beach does not close at 5pm. The public restrooms say 6am - 10 pm. Maybe the life guard is off duty by 5, but a great place to watch the sunset!

Found this beach by chance and gave it a go. Parked up and took the short walk to the beach over the walk way. The beach was busy in both directions but I found a reasonable spot. The beach was clean. The turtles were in the egg laying season and further down the beach the egg laying zones had been... More

Easy access and lovely water. The sand is rough on your feet. Ample parking, but it gets taken quickly. Look carefully for signs. Parking rules can be tricky for some.

Englewood, FL is a really laid back area. There isn't much nightlife compared to other beach areas but great seafood is all around. There are a lot of seashells and sharks teeth to be found on the beach. The crowd at the beach and area tends to lean toward the older side. If you just want to relax and have... More

This is a fantastic beach with ample parking being free. Lifeguard on duty. Locals showed how to look for shark teeth. Not crowned as much as others in the area.

Very friendly quiet beach.....a paradise for shell seekers. Beautiful Caribbean waters with decent waves....should wear water shoes since there are so many shells.....Will definitely vacation there again although we like siesta key this is much quieter. Beautiful sunsets.....seventy five cents an hour to park but if you stay within walking distance no cost

Sarasota county has it together and maintains the beach and bath house. Lots of parking and stunning view of the gulf. Great place to shell and find sharks teeth.

I liked this beach. There is ample parking across the street. It wasn't very crowded the day we went. The sand is very coarse but full of fossilized shark teeth. We spent hours combing through the sand and found a few dozen, one as large as an arrow head! It's a cool beach and I'd definitely go back. We packed... More

Very pretty water, nice white sand, and a lot of fun collecting shells and shark teeth. Not as busy as some beaches.
