The river is clear and clean. There are birds, fish, turtles, and I spotted an otter. Fishing is prohibited because the wildlife are very fragile. There is a current however Paddling against the current is easy.

Very nice and relaxing. You can scuba dive, snorkel, kayak and paddle board down this pristine spring fed waterway.

love this place been 3 times, the water is crystal clear, a bit cold, brrrr. but amazing place to go and just float down the river or do a drift dive.

Cool water you can enter for $5 at private entrance or $2 at State park. Water is beautiful and transparent. You can bring your own tubes. Float approx. 2 hours...

We moved here in Dec., 2017 and are so glad we did. The river is beautiful, fragile, crystal clear and cold! This entire area if full of rivers, bayous, and outdoor activities!

I would say that a toddler would do fine with a life jacket and adult help.
