So glad we found this for daily walks! Scenic, beautiful bridge over the river, even saw some baby gators, and of course the familiar Florida birds on the shoreline. Parking lots at either end....

Popular walking and/or biking trail along the Rainbow River. We walked as far as the bridge over the Withlacoochee but you can go even farther. Saw and heard lots of birds, even an anhinga.
