We spent an afternoon here while in Destin on a family trip. The hotel wasn't too crowded and we were able to find a spot for our family with relative ease. Facilities were nice and the beach was clean.

We stayed in Perdido Key and drove here for the day. The $6 entry fee was well worth it. We sat next to the Jr Lifeguard training so we were a bit crowded, but it was so nice. The beach was spotless and so relaxing....More

We were here on vacation from California. We did not mind the $6 entry fee because there was plenty of parking and the beach was not crowded. There are picnic areas and restrooms on site.

Great family friendly beach - not overly crowded - very clean. Great facilities. $6 entry fee well worth it!

The water here is so clear! Our kids loved it! You do pay a small fee to enter ($6 when we went) but well worth it. Restrooms on site.

The Henderson Beach State Park is perfect! The beach was very close to where we stayed so we could walk there in less than 5 minutes. The beach is exceptionally clean and the water is amazing! We were fortunate to see a turtle release.

Beautiful beach. But come early parking is terrible!! Lots of people. They have outdoor showers and picnic tables.

Very clean beaches, clear blue water, wonderful beach experience. We have been to several beaches from Padre to Marco Island. This is top notch. We even were able to see a very small stingray.

I did not see anyone patrolling the beach regarding collecting fees. We walked out of the park and back in without incident.

I think so, but park closes at sunset. Free parking about a mile down. You need to turn left at Hampton Inn
