West palm beach airport is closer to Delray than Ft. Lauderdale and there are several hotels in the area of Atlantic ave. The Fairfield Inn which is Fairly new about 9 blocks from the beach but restaurants and shops are really close. The walk is not a bad walk tons to see and do! Check out the hotel reviews First! There is also the Delray beach Marriot and the Colony hotel! Of the three the Fairfield is priced better! I hoped that helped and enjoy your stay!
