We visited downtown Delray Beach on Memorial Day weekend and there was an art fair where we enjoyed the offerings of many local artists, even taking something with us. We then walked along Atlantic Avenue towards the intercoastal, there were many restaurants, bars, and outdoor cafes all buzzing with activity. Boutiques and gift shops were also open but didn't seem as... More

Atlantic Avenue is a great place to visit. Weather you are shopping, people watching or out for dinner and drinks. We visit at least once a week. There's loads of restaurants to choose from there's something for everyone. Our favorites are Taco Rocco and Racks oysters and grill. Plenty of we'll run bars in the restaurants if you are looking... There are a variety of vibes along Atlantic so if you are not the kind of person who can adapt to your surroundings, you may want to drive the almost 2 mile length of the avenue to find your spot. If you have more time to leisurely view the area, take it all in during a free trolley ride. From... More

I've lived in Delray Beach five different times. You can get to the beach across Atlantic Avenue but it's a little cluttered with traffic. The restaurants all seem to be booming but I have not found one that makes me want to come back again and again. It's pretty touristy and not very attractive to residents.

Atlantic Avenue is longer in distance than you think but at the same time it feels small and quaint. We brought our two teens here for a change of pace from the West Coast of Florida and visiting Grandma lol and they loved the vibe here! We were worried it would be like "Spring Break" but it is happening with... More

Many sights (people watching) upscale restaurants. Bar life and music great. Enjoy one of Palm Beach's best nightlife. Atlantic Ave is convenient to Boca and Boynton. Cool cars and motorbikes welcome.

I love the little seaside village of Delray. Delray has some of the best that South Florida has to offer. When I lived here I liked the simplicity and convenience of just being able to walk pretty much anywhere- including to grab lunch, coffee or to go to the beach. I really love Atlantic Avenue which stretches straight to Delray... More

My family and I spent a weekend in Delray Beach for a wedding. We visited the beaches and stayed in the amazing Hyatt Place hotel. We took a nice walk at night to visit the many shops and restaurants that line the streets of this amazing town. Atlantic Avenue is where all the action happens and it is truly a... More

Love Atlantic Avenue east of Interstate 95. By day, chic boutiques, restaurants of all styles, and art galleries and people watching. By night, dining, dancing and drinking, with an unbeatable Atlantic ocean at the eastern end. Easy strolling to see over 50 restaurants and places to stop for a tall beverage. Galleries and window shopping add to the charm. People... More
