Spent a few minutes minutes in the area. The wife wanted to walk in the Atlantic Ocean. This place was well suited for her. Veranda on the street to clean the sand after walking about 50 yards to the water across clean sand. Being this was done Monday early afternoon, no crowds, ocean calm, waves small-rolling. A pleasant visit.

The nicest part of this was the beautiful forest walk. The beach itself is beautiful like most Florida beaches, just wholly unremarkable.

While it's right down the street (a mile or so) from the main beach this is the one to hit...while not across from the restaurants, etc. it's a lot less crowded...you can drive up to the handicapped area and drop off and then go back to the parking lot to park. Parking is better here than on the street as... More

The beach is clean and has bathroom and shower facilities. Parking is inexpensive and metered. There are boardwalks leading up to the beach as well as handicap parking.

You would think your in the Caribbean at this gem of a beach, very expansive just a gorgeous beach. There are facilities and you can rent a cabana here.

Always a pleasure and away from the crowds, usually there is a space in the parking area across the street for a fee. Some handicap spots right in the beach side, but you need a plate or placard to park in the H spots. Full amenities with outside shower, bathrooms, benches under the cover of a roof. Then the quitter... More

I'm hesitant to write a review as I feel like it's a 'best kept secret' in this area. We had a great beach day here! Parking is easy and right across the street. The bathroom facilities were clean. The beach itself here is quite large and flat. Great views and good location within Delray but away from the masses. I... More

Lifeguard On Duty (during the day). Friendly chair and umbrella rental available. Wide-open stretches of not so heavily visited beach; clean. Nice restrooms and rinse-off showers. Paid-parking, $1.50/hour, across the street.

The town has done a wonderful job in providing this lovely park for families and kid so. It is well groomed with benches and a gazebo. This is a wonderful place just to relax and enjoy the Florida sun on a weekend afternoon.
