Been a member for 3 years. My wife and I came to receive Jesus in that Church, changed us forever. The Church is so old, beautiful, and Holy. The pasters speak from their heart and have taught us so much. There are numerous activities all the time. meetings for prayer and healing, studies, Prison Ministries, Cursillo and so much more...... I was asked to sing for a funeral here, and the experience was one I will always remember, because of the kindness of the people and the beauty of the church.

I recently attended a funeral at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church. Though it was a sad occasion the peacefulness and welcoming atmosphere made is a memorable occasion. This is the second time I have visited the church for a funeral and was again amazed at the simple beauty of the interior. The church is very similar to a historic church on... More

Wonderful, beautiful old Episcopal church. Welcoming church attendees who are there to be a community, and loving The Lord. There is nothing better than walking into a church and smelling the history. I will never forget the all-encompassing visit to this beautiful, charming church. Love love love the stained glass of history.

We went to St. Barnabas the first Sunday after we moved to Deland and have been there ever since! The church building is beautiful...representing the oldest operating building in Deland, FL...since 1882. The Rector is young and vibrant, and the assistant Rector is warm, friendly and funny! The congregation ranges from very old to parents with young children, and everything... More

Some of the best grits I have every had! Friendly, inviting atmosphere. I even went back to the kitchen area to tell the 'cooks' how good they were.

This school Is without a doubt a true Blue Ribbon school. Blue Ribbon schools are few and far between. Ms. Lyons and Mr Garcia maintain the high standards and top teachers to keep their students above average with strong values. and standards. This school Is the pride school of Deland.
