The park is quiet, beautiful old trees, flowers in bloom, waterfall, museum so full of information. Just wonderful sitting watch people watching the birds, squirrels, and fish. Manatees came up the canal and were playing in front of everyone, very active that day. The grounds are very well kept, everyone so helpful. Kids can swimming as well as adults and the... More

Don't forget to walk through the woods. See the 500 year old tree. The walk is not that long but nice. Take the boat ride.

Spend the day or just a few hours, either way, it is well worth it. This location offers so many options; a picnic in the park, hiking trails, a dip in the pool (natural spring water), a boat tour, and so much more, whatever you decide, you will definitely enjoy the day here.

Looking for a good way to enjoy a relaxing day in a natural spring? Look no further. Ponce De Leon is said to have found the Fountain of Youth, right here, many moons ago. We found it this weekend. Hopefully, you will too. The 72 degree water temperature is very refreshing. There are other activities besides swimming. There are kayak,... More

Many people were enjoying the springs, but it was a bit too cool for us! Will try again next another day!

I took my son here on Labor Day because its closest to us and just to introduce him to the springs. We are nature enthusiasts so we loved the view and overall atmosphere. He wouldn't get in all the way because it was cold but that's to be expected :p he still refused to leave the water area and there's... More

De Leon has a very nice swimming area, park like views, and a family friendly atmosphere that won't cost you an arm and a leg. Yes, the crowd is a mix of young and old, rich and poor. Snorkeling and cave diving are available.

Fantastic place to bring the family or just spend some time for yourself. Beautiful, scenic place with plenty of history. You can also get on a boat and take a guided tour, viewing nature up close and personal.

Good walking paths, and swimming. Very relaxing, nice area for picnics, shady under the old live oaks.

Far drive from the beach. Neat to see the natural spring and the fountain of youth. Remember to bring swim suits! The restaurant that you make your own pancakes is a great idea but the waits are 2 hours long or more.
