Birthday Present

Gave my son a Ride Along for his 18th birthday. They were very organized and efficient. My son had a blast. His smile at the end spoke volumes.

There are two options: ride-along (driven by professional) or driving experience (you drive with the professional next to you). If you're a traveler on vacation, the ride-along is likely the wayyyy less time-intensive of the two. (If you're doing the driving experience, you will need to arrive 30 min prior to the start time, then there is training, then you... More

Great time of year to travel to Daytona. This is more of an adult game, don't recommend children, even if they fit the age and height

To run on a world famous auto race track in a NASCAR race car at 160 miles per hour has got to be thrilling and breathtaking for anyone

This is the most awesome thing I've done in a long time. It costs $135, Plus tax, and it's best to make a reservation, at least at race time. You are taken by tram from the tours and ticket building at the speedway, to pit road. There the people help you get into a firesuit, helmet and a HANS device... More

I signed my two boys up for the Jr Ride Along. First thing, despite it being pretty damn cool, it's also pretty damn expensive for 3 laps. Considering a lap is pretty quick, throw a few more in there! You're not provided with a lot of information from the website or your confirmation email. I spent much of the time... More

I did the rookie experience. 8 laps in a 600 hp NASCAR. There is an instructor riding right seat to help you find the line and they actually control how much power you get but you drive the car and keep the pedal to the floor. It is awesome going into those high banked 30 degree banking. Counter intuitive but... More

Pros: Thrilling experience driving the eight laps around the track, audio with instructor was clear, movie and instructions helpful Cons: Very expensive, 10 minute video I purchased was blank and waiting for refund, helmets and uniforms not sanitized between drivers and/or passenger use. Trailer employees selling pictures, video, t-shirts not very friendly, all business

I purchased this experience for 4 people. Big mistake. 2 adults 2 children. Young children 7 & 8. I didn't realize that they would be sooooo greedy that they don't offer refunds. I canceled the kids as they got scared. They gave me a gift card that I could use to let the kids ride if they wanted to or... More
