After 16 years of living in South Florida we finally visited Flamingo Gardens when our family, including our 3 year old granddaughter, recently visited. I wasn't sure what to expect but we all really enjoyed ourselves. I thought we'd be done in 2 hours but...More

We had a very enjoyable time. My granddaughter had a good time walking around seeing the animals-birds, alligators, otters, flamingos, bobcat, turtles. Our favorite was watching the otters playing in their water playground. We also enjoyed taking the tram tour- seeing the gardens, trees and...More

A unique experience and worthwhile cause. Up close feeding of flamingos and other exotic birds. Foliage is incredible. Wonderful tram ride. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful spot.

Do not ask Judy, grumpy employee, for directions around the park, or she'll make fun of your ethnicity.

We were just there 10/27. They were pretty beaten up by the hurricane but they have done a good job getting back up and running. Several animal exibets and some amazing trees and plants. Very cool.

Dear Cowboys6026, Thank you for being able to see past the hurricane damage. We are doing everything possible to return to pre-hurricane strength, but it takes time and money. We appreciate your visit and hope to see you again in the future.

A beautiful park with native plants and wildlife. Injured animals are rehabilitated and bred in a semi wild environment. The place was packed for a princess and pirate event, but one could still appreciate the plants and wildlife.

We took our 14 year old granddaughter there. It was very interesting for all us. All the birds and animals are in very nice exhibits. My wife was in a wheelchair and it was easy to get around to the exhibits.

Flamingo Gardens is our favorite place to purchase plants and herbs. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and there are plenty of them. Parking is plentiful and convenient and there are always a lot of activities for the kids.

I think the most inexpensive way to visit would be by Uber or Lyft. You can also call KSA Tours and ask if they pick up at your hotel. The number is 954-614-7452. Be aware that we are about a 45 minute drive from the... More

The summer camps usually leave by noon but they do not interrupt the peace of our other visitors. The summer camps are all led by our education team. They do not wander by themselves.

You can do it on a rainy day but it won't be nearly as enjoyable. I would hold off and pick a day without rain in the forecast. It's pretty much all outdoors and rain would really "dampen" the experience.
