The temple mound and burial mounds don't take long to see, but the view from the top of the temple is lovely. Nice little museum. It's great to see the state preserving Native American history.

This is a very nice wooded park with ancient mounds along the Crystal River. Quiet and informative. The museum was closed when we got there

I was actually surprised at home much our teenaged boys enjoyed the site - from the 8 minute movie to the artifacts to the actual mounds, Stele stones and the view from the river! Great activity for the price ($3 per vehicle!!).

We stopped here on our way home from Georgia. We watched the video first which I recommend before you go walking around. We brought a lunch and ate by the water.
