I read about this garden in a magazine article full of superlatives and was not disappointed. It is an expansive collection of settings spread around about four lakes and through a half dozen greenhouses. If you like palms, cactus, orchids, and butterflies, this will be a great experience. By all means take the free tram ride for an orienting look,... More

Well worth a visit. Fabulous tropical plants & flowers, together with a fantastic butterfly enclosure. They offer a free train tour, together with a knowledgeable guide. Not forgetting the resident crocodiles..... Also beautiful glass sculptures around the garden.

This is a garden in the middle of a busy area. But once you go inside all that is easily forgotten. The parking is on the north entrance and when the lot gets full they open up the area near the lowlands so you will always find a spot. There are 2 distinct areas to the garden. The area where... The price is high for a one time visit, $35. But their membership packages are worth it. I paid $110 and attended 4 or 5 times and feel it is worth it. The gardens are beautiful and it is a wonderful place to decompress and spend some quiet time. The staff are kind and friendly. The restaurant has a very... More

I don't understand the need for Miami attractions to be so cost prohibitive. Worse still is the fact that once you pay to get in you are trapped with nowhere to go really and so you go to eat at the only choice available...to find a dirty overpriced cafe staffed by snarky anti-service people. The food is horrible, but the... More

What a wonderful place to spend a day. They have a huge variety of tropical plants and trees, with beautiful walking paths winding through the gardens and around the ponds. Lots of birds including a very large blue heron, some really big iguanas, turtles in the ponds, and one alligator/crocodile sighting as well.

Beautiful, varied and very well maintained gardens. We spent about 3 1/2 hours and could have used another full day to fully explore this gem.

This is a beautiful park with so many lovely areas. The little train ride is a good introduction to the park with an excellent narration. Then we walked round the enchanting butterfly garden, the beautiful orchid garden, by the river and we saw the alligators at the other end of the lake. There is a nice cafe for lunch and... More

This is a wonderful attraction in miami. A unique garden with a tropical sub garden. It has been a mainstay the botanical community. Take the tram ride to get an overview. Then wander & explore. Many weekends have special events I.e.orchid festival;mango festival

Whether you want to spend an hour or half a day this garden paradise is number 1 in the US! The butterfly garden, the orchid walk and the serenity makes this garden a very special place. Take the tram tour if you are a first time visiter or even a repeat visitor.
