The pier seemed a little boring in the morning. However, It was much nicer during the late afternoon around sunset time. It offered a very nice view of the sunset over the water. Also later in the day local vendors setup to sell interesting memorabilia. Finally around night time, they start to play some fun music for the tourists.

We were under the impression that this was a place to spend a few hours in the evening and it was just a few vendors and a store. Ok if you are out and about but I wouldn't make this a destination.

Pier 60 is the heart of Clearwater Beach. Lots of activities, you can fish off the end, for a fee; kid friendly; the beach here is huge and the sand is like silk! Umbrellas and shade tent(?) available for a like $20 for the day. Always something going on! Very fun!

The pier is a must to get the full aspect of Clearwater beach. Costs just a $1 to access the end. Options to fish too at an additional cost. Pelicans and birds sit freely on the wooden boardwalk. A tourist gift shop is also on the pier which is reasonably priced.

Pier was clean and easy to gain access although no access to the beach unless to walk to the start of it. Then 2/3rd the was down they stop you and charge for entry. Your think all the revenue the City gets from all the hotels, parking and restaurants they could let people have free access. All the piers in... More

Since I was in Clearwater I had to stop to see Pier 60 with the family. It is a nice little Pier with some good views of the Beach and Bird life. You have to pay a dollar to get to the end of the pier but it not a deal breaker for me. This Pier is crowded at sunset... More

This is a great spot to buy little specialty gifts. When we went it was windy and there weren't a lot of vendors but it is a fun atmosphere with lovely views of the sunset.

There are sidewalk performers suitable for ages 6 and up and an excellent playground for children of all ages. Also, movies in the park a couple of times a week. All is free.
