Come join us on a fun filled, narrated sightseeing tour of Clearwater's harbor. Enjoy a relaxing ride while you learn about our abundant wildlife, and view the area's dolphins in their natural environment. Every trip stops at Compass Island where you can collect shells, swim, snorkel and the kids can even hunt for treasure! Dolphin sightings are guaranteed*. Excursions depart from the Clearwater Beach Marina multiple times every day. Spend an hour and a half to an hour and forty five minutes with our highly trained crew in the Clearwater Harbor on board our 40 foot Coast Guard inspected excursion boat. For twenty to thirty minutes during your trip, the boat will stop at Compass Island where you will have the opportunity to shell hunt through thousands of shells, swim, snorkel (gear is provided) and enjoy the island. Our boats are available for charter as well. If you're looking for something more intimate with friends and family on the water we can accommodate. We have done weddings, rehearsal dinner socials, proposals, birthday parties, bachelor parties, anniversaries, school and church groups and family reunions.

Amazing Experience overall

I couldn't believe that I paid 21$ for an amazing trip like this one. The staff treated us so well, my parents felt very welcomed and told that this was their best trip in the USA... read more

First, there's a $2 off coupon in the area's map - available at the dock - that is essentially 10% off. Oh, and it costs $6 to park for the duration of the cruise which is conveniently not mentioned in the propaganda. The dolphins are 40 - 50 yards off the boat, so it's not really an encounter per se.... More

Did not go in the water at all. Did not stop at the island. Saw only one or two dolphins from very far away. They cancelled our trip last minute and rescheduled for later in the afternoon, lucky we didn't have plans, or maybe unlucky, we could have just got our money back!

I couldn't believe that I paid 21$ for an amazing trip like this one. The staff treated us so well, my parents felt very welcomed and told that this was their best trip in the USA so far. Including all beaches in Florida. I highly recommend this company as they make your day with the extra courteous attitude and go... More

I was a little surprised the name is "Encounters with Dolphins" since the dolphins were quite far away. We saw a few fins poke out of the water pretty far away, and they counted that as an "encounter". Little Toot (nearby) has dolphins jumping and playing right in the wake almost within reach, so that boat makes this one look... More

This boat does not go into the Gulf, where there are more dolphins. We only saw a couple dolphins swimming, not jumping. On the "Little Toot" boat, they go out into the Gulf and you really see the dolphins up close and jumping. Also, this tour stops at a little "island" that just looks like a pile of sand in... More

We went on this trip after a visit at Disney World, my son had more fun on this cruise and at the island looking for shells than he had a Disney world. The guys on the boat were very nice and allowed my son to drive the boat! We did not see any dolphins; but they are wild animals and... More

My husband and I went at the tour on 1 pm. It was incredible. I stopped by their place to ask and I was surprised by the price I heard. I believe it was 19 something per person including encounter with dolphins, collecting shells and show some celebrities' homes. I liked that trip and I enjoyed it!

The boat on the website was broke so we traveled on a smaller boat. Did not go out to sea but made a lap around the bay. As expected didn't see a dolphin. We were told we were in luck and could ride for free if we came back within 30 days. Not a problem if you live in the... More

The trip was okay. It was a fair price and just being out on the boat was fun. We did go to see the dolphins, but we saw one jump right away and then the boat left the area. My thought was, "that was it." I thought we could have looked harder for more. We visited an island to collect... More

Not a fancy boat but gets the job done. Captain Bob and First Mate Eddie were very personable and authentic. Eddie was great about making sure the kids could see and the captain narrated some cool info about homes along the beach. Would definitely book again!
