We went there on a recommendation and it was a very clean and beautiful beach and park. The facilities were decent and there is ample parking. They also have chair and umbrella rentals. Expect a long walk, as the beach are is very big and...More

We stayed a couple of minutes walk away at the Marriott Suites. The beach is beautiful and very quiet, unlike Clearwater Beach, which can get quite crowded. At Sand Key Park and beach you'll get sea, sand, shells and sun - and very little else...More

Stay in a local hotel and trolley here, or there is paid parking. Bring quarters, this area does not have an attendant. Park only in designated spades, the ticket is over $100 if you don't and the lot is patrolled

The sand isn't nearly as nice as Clearwater Beach, but there aren't as many people. The bathrooms are pretty bad. However, the sea shells were much bigger and more unique. There is a $5 fee to park.

great place to park your car and walk the jetties and play on the beach. Life guards there and a great view to the gulf.

Beautiful beach without the tons of others at Clearwater. Lots to do and beautiful sand and water. What a great place to go where your parking and admission is included. We've paid more for just parking at other locations.

We visited here whilst on vacation in Clearwater beach. The view was amazing and we loved just sitting enjoying the sunshine and watch the world go by.

Right around the bend from Clearwater Beach but years away from the crowds on Clearwater Beach. Same water same sand less people.

The beach is beautiful. The sand is soft and clean. The people were nice and less crowded than other Beaches. For us, there was easy access and parking too. Very nice.

We stopped here on the way out of town, just to see something different. It was a beautiful place, with a great view of the Nearby bridge. Saw a couple of Dolphins swimming up the channel. Looked like a nice place to picnic, as there...More

Yes if you park then you pay. Drive to the shopping center, park and walk back

We would like to bring down our own charcoal grill. Does the Park allow you to bring your own?

I know that they have grills located around the park but I'm not sure if you can bring them down on the beach. I found a phone number to contact Sand Key it is 1-727-582-2100. Hope this helps.

Being there and confirming on the satellite map, I say there is not a public boat launch there.
