With hundreds of things to do on Clearwater Beach, the main attraction is still pretty much its near-perfect beach (USA Today readers voted Clearwater Beach "Best Beach Town in Florida" in 2013). Beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make this beach an ideal playground for families.

We had a wonderful time! The white sand beach and millions of shells were a highlight for our whole family.

Little Shells, warm ocean and white sandy beaches. Perfect!! We walked the beach and waded in the ocean. Some days the ocean seemed warmer than others.

The most beautiful beach in North America. Wide, wide beach with soft sand. Great sun and sky. Free 2 hour parking on Baymont St.

This beach had wide areas of very white sand and was a fairly good beach and definitely worth a visit and a swim.

Had a great time stayed at the same place as last year the weather was unbelievable The days were filled with splashing in the ocean and then the pool. We spent hours walking the streets around the pier from the day in to the night....More

We had not visited this part of Florida before and what a beautiful place it it. Long, clean, white sandy beaches with plenty of people enjoying themselves. If you are in this part of the world make the effort and visit.

Very nice beach, easy access and walking, plentiful chairs, hotels, restaurants, and shopping. Only slight negative is the shells along the water. They are a little difficult to walk on barefoot. Some Other FL beaches don’t have quite the abundance of shells at the shore...More

I believe the average temps in February are the low 70s, and I'm sure the water is cold.
