With hundreds of things to do on Clearwater Beach, the main attraction is still pretty much its near-perfect beach (USA Today readers voted Clearwater Beach "Best Beach Town in Florida" in 2013). Beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make this beach an ideal playground for families.

A very crowded beach especially near Pier 60. We hated seeing all of the trash on the beach and the jet ski fuel collecting in the water closest to the sand. We enjoyed Honeymoon Beach so much more!

Great beach and area but it a little crowded on summer weekends. Definitely a beautiful and well cared for area.

Spent a day at the beach with friends and sand is still beautiful. Water didn't seem to be as clean or clear as last visit. Biggest issues are with others at the beach. Our friends had their bag stolen within 30 minutes of being at...More

Are there still things to do here in the off-season? We aren't able to get vacation until September and we've never been to Clearwater so I was curious.
