We truly enjoyed our visit at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It was heart warming to see all the work that goes into helping to improve the quality of life of our sick and injured marine life. Thank you for all you do! I noticed some reviews stated the upkeep of the property was lacking. I disagree and I would like... More

I travelled to CMA with my wife in January 2017. We are from the Toronto, Ontario area and we wanted to get away from the snow for a few days. Since her birthday fell on one of the day's we were in Florida, I wanted to surprise her with a trip to the CMA, as we both really enjoyed both... More

Visited on a weekday. You only get to see animals by their choice on whether they come out or not. Listened to a trainer talk about how after she was done with her presentation, nicholas would perform. Sadly the trainers were fighting so no one performed. For the price it is very disappointing.

We're sorry to see that your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium was not quite what you expected. We are a marine animal hospital, focusing on the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life; the only resident animals that we have are those who have been deemed non-releasable by the government, as they lack critical survival skills. In those events, it... More

What started out as an effort to rescue and rehabilitate injured and abandoned animals has grown into a great educational tourist site as well - thanks to celebrities like the dolphins Winter and Hope. It was great to meet the real animals behind the movies Dolphin Tale 1 & 2. The residents of the aquarium are always changing so I... More

The kids were real disappointed with the visit. They were expecting to see winter up close and only saw from a distance in a tank 30 feet away. The cost to enter was high considering all you could do was watch a born behind glass and a couple turtles and dolphins in a tank. Not sure if we missed a... More

We're sorry to see that your little ones had a tough time viewing our dolphins. Winter and Hope share the Winter Zone pool, which is composed of a large pool up front and two pools in the back. Often throughout the day, the gates to all of these pools are left open, to allow the girls to choose their pool... More

This is an actual marine animal hospital - not your typical aquarium. So while you will see marine wildlife - turtles, sting rays, a few tropical fish, and dolphins, you won't see a large variety like you would at other aquariums.

I have been wanting to see how this aquarium operates for a long time. It is a bit pricey for as small as it is, but when you have had a chance to see the work they do here, you will understand why. Aside from seeing Winter and Hope, we viewed many sea creatures who would not be able to... More

For my family it would have been $80 to go (2 adults, 2 kids over 3) Luckily we had free tickets. I have been here 3 times. We saw pretty much everything at the aquarium (minus some shows) and were done in under 1 hour. Not a lot to see and do. Winter the dolphin is interesting but enclosures are... More
