We stopped by here because our original plans fell apart. There is not a huge amount of animals here to see but the staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the ones there. This is a research and rescue aquarium not your basic tourist...More

I spent 2 hours and I feel like I did everything (except the extended boat tours). It was the perfect amount of time to do something before lunch. It's not really an aquarium though. I would describe it more as a public hospital. I like...More

Thank you so much for visiting us at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and supporting our work and mission! We appreciate it more than we can say!

Although the aquarium is small, there is a lot to see. Make sure you take the boat excursion. Best time to visit is early in the day before it gets hot.

It was cute! Very small but my daughter was happy to get to see Hope and Winter! It's definitely something to do if you are in the area!

A bit over-rated and pricey. Good for kids....nice enough but not worth the price - more of a tourist trap.

We're sorry to see that Clearwater Marine Aquarium wasn't quite what you expected, Kenn. Our work centers around the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life - without visitors like you coming through our doors, we wouldn't be able to continue this amazing mission!

The place is a rescue for sea life. There is not much to see, they are over priced and extremely small. They are an old water place converted to helping sick sea animals. Please do not waste your time or money to see this place.More

Clearwater Marine Aquarium is the home to the dolphin Winter from the movie. As you can imagine a dolphin with a disability and a movie start to boot can draw some crowds. Luckily we were there after many schools were back in session and it...More

Yes they do have discounts for Vets, I don't remember what it was exactly but I think it was like half off. The money goes to the center so that they can help the rescues, that is some what comforting, I guess. :)

We went during the week. I would check the web site or phone to check the activities scheduled for the weekend vs the week. My experience in Florida has been that weekdays are the best for any activity.
