Hiring beach furniture can be expensive, but if you have a few chairs and an umbrella don't bother. Sand is lovely, fine white, and in the summer the sea is warm.

Super busy, super hot outside, sunny. Great place but parking is scarce and I had to pay $20 to park a few blocks away. They need a huge parking lot that is $1.00 an hour or so.

We are here for a week's vacation. We checked this out last night. It's a 1 mile sidewalk, parallel to the ocean on one side and the back of hotels on the other side. Beach is beautiful but you can appreciate it without a sidewalk....More

I have visited Daytona, Cocoa Beach and Melbourne. This beach is by far my favorite. There aren't as many birds flying around trying to take your snacks. It is a little bit easier to walk on the beach without too much effort. The beach is...More

We walked along the beachwalk at night. Very nice paved and/or brick walkway. It was not crowded and there were tons of places to eat and get ice cream with a few vendors or performers. Felt safe and no issues!

Cheaper is always a choice whatever city you go to. You can find inexpensive to more expensive anywhere. If you stay directly on the Gulfcoast beaches the rates will be higher than if you stay in the area but off of the... More

We go to Johns Pass frequently and along the boardwalk we watch Dolphins playing almost every time we're there. Dolphins use the channel there to travel from Gulf to the Intracoastal waterways. We find that's the best... More

If you aren't staying there, the best place to park is a lot at The Pier area. Walking anywhere from there is easy.
