I like Oakwell Hall and often go go for a walk after church on Sundays. Cafe never has any food after 2:00. It is always busy and I'm sure they could make a profit.

Fantastic step back in time, very well cared for grounds and although the Hall itself was closed on our visit the building really did stand out both historically and imaginatively. The day we visited was dull and rainy but we enjoyed our relatively short visit none the less, we intend to go back. The 'local authority run cafe' needs 'jazzing... More

Loads of parks near by but we always prefer oakwell hall because it has a beautiful scenic walk. Great for picnics, walks or just general fun for the kids.

Lovely old Manor building with a tea shop. Good place for a walk in the woods and to visit their courtyard garden.

So this place is quite hilly in parts and has several Unmade paths so beware of wheelchair use - might be a bit tricky. It's quite a nice place to have a stroll for an hour - lot's of dogs being exercised - and a stream for kids to maybe have a splash in. There's a small cafe near the... More
