Mosaïc donated the land to the county, and they run a beautifull park / campsite on it. There is a lot of wildlife, nice trails, fishing and camping. The bathhouses are not top notch, lacking some maintenance, but hey you're camping, so live with it....More

Have been there numerous times and it is a hidden gem in central Florida. The lakes are pristine and the camp sites are large and well maintained

The camping site was excellent! It was very peaceful and had electric and water. Dump site for the holding tank was easily accessible. My husband, sons, and grandson found the lakes to be amazing fishing areas. We will be back as often as possible!

What a wonderful park, great wide open camping area, plenty of hiking trails and bike paths. The fishing is very good. My scout troop really enjoyed our weekend camp out. The drive is very reasonable from Bradenton

My overall rating is a 3, but only because of the few amenities that some campers may want. If you want peace and quiet, pretty lakes, Florida birds, good electric and water, and a clean bathhouse, then this is the place for you. The staff...More

No Wi-Fi. But I picked up roaming fine. This is the perfect place to unplug. WiFi here is sacrilege.
