Every time we come to Bonita Springs we make it a point to visit Barefoot Beach Preserve. Walking the beach, collecting shells, watching the birds, getting a glimpse of the Gopher Tortises and the Sun Sets. Nothing like the beach at sunset.

Beautiful Beach on the gulf as well as on Wiggins Pass. Less crowded than other beaches due to limited parking. Biking in is another option. Lots of shells and a small but nice interpretive center. Very common to see a Gopher Tortoise lounging or out...More

Stumbled across this secluded place tucked away down Barefoot Road. You actually drive through a gorgeous larger home neighborhood on a bricked street to get here. So not too shabby. Once at the beach there is ample parking and then just nature...............which we love. White...More

Beautiful beach. You will enjoy gathering some beautiful seashells as the beach has a lot of them. Great facilities too.

Stopped here for half a day and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The water was warm and it was quite empty. Not quite prime tourist season has its perks. I believe it was $8 to get in. There are restrooms normally but hurricane Irma damaged those...More

I believe cash only for the parking fee. If you are a resident of Collier County and have a beach parking permit, entrance is free.

Sorry for the delay. Not checking emails over holiday weekend. You could ride a bike, but just be aware that the paths are not paved, they are a firm sand base which may present some challenges in a few spots.
