We had a great day trip to Useppa Island with Captiva Cruises. The boat ride over and back was pleasant and the boat guide was informative and entertaining. This is the only way to get on this private enclave, unless you own property there or are a guest of an owner, thus the appeal. The trip took longer than advertised,... More

While staying at friends in the Island we went to both the patio and dinner restaurants. Lunch outside is well worth it. Fried Chicken nights (Tuesdays, I think) are spectacular. Decent wine, beer & cocktail menus. Historic and idyllic setting!!

Viisted Useppa Island on a Captiva Cruises day trip from Captiva, which is a terrific way to get out on the bay, learn a lot about the area, and have lunch on a pretty and island. Useppa is a private residential club that allow Captiva Cruises only to bring day trippers for a peek at their quaint history museum ($5... More

We had a wonderful trip to Useppa on Captiva Cruises, with great narration by the captain along the way, and multiple dolphin sitings. Our lunch at the Collier Inn was awesome, as was the setting...like stepping back in time. The island is very laid-back and relaxing and the small Museum was very informative. This is a great day trip which... More

An private island paradise. We had the pleasure of enjoying a marvelous lunch among the beautiful landscaping. This was a true treat. The food was incredibly delicious as were the cocktails. A huge thank you to my friend who made this possible 😊

We took the boat out of South seas plantation in Captiva to Useppa island. The boat ride itself was awesome. The three ship captains were very informative. The history lesson was awesome. The tour of the island was spectacular. Great history great people and great food. I would suggest everyone take this trip at some point.

Took a day trip to the island and was very pleased. It was beautiful. The grounds were amazing, and it had gorgeous banyan trees. The downside, there was really no beach. The one they did have was not very pretty. It had ugly sand, and dark water. But I don't think people go there for the beach. We ate at... More

We took our son and his wife and children to Useppa for a long weekend, after having rented a boat to use during that time. The house we stayed in was on the beach, and we spent much of the weekend boating to Cayo Costa, Cabbage Key and North Captiva. It was a glorious weekend, and our entire family would... More

Scheduled the day trip to this private island which houses a fabulous little museum and a great private club. The boat trip which leaves daily from Captiva allows a non-member to have lunch--which is great. The scenery and plantings are exquisite and the dolphins are numerous. Overall--an absolutely great day trip.

Stopped at Useppa for one overnight on our boat. Dockage was perfect. Dinner at Collier Inn was fantastic. A great getaway on a beautiful private island. We felt completely relaxed What great place.
