What a lovely old lighthouse and delightful beach area. Was just going to the beach for some sun and found an entertaining educational experience in the process!

We like going to this beach when visiting the area. You do have to pay to get over the bridge to Gasparilla Island ($6) and then $3 to park. But the beach is not crowded which is nice especially with young kids. There are a...More

We visited here on the afternoon of 10/27/2017 on an overnight getaway trip to Gasparilla Island. There is a $3 fee to park your car (honor system payment envelopes at the unguarded gate/entrance) and it has modern and clean restrooms located adjacent to the parking...More

It was uncrowded for a Sunday afternoon. There are several access areas to the beach. We parked for free on a side street, and hauled our gear down to the beach. The water was clear and relatively calm. Lots of shells to gather. THEN, a...More

Did the Boca Grande Bike Path and stopped here to walk around and have our picnic lunch. Nice place, clean, well maintained.

Boca Grande is a step back in time with a beautiful beach and quaint homes, shops and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to pay the toll and cross over into this gem of a destination.

It's not an accident there is a toll to just get onto the island with this beach, as it is truly the best around and worth every penny to come here. The beach is rarely full, the water is perfect and rarely that rough, and...More

In my opinion the best beach has been Ft Myers Beach down south across from Santini Plaza behind the Wyndham. It is white floury sand and gorgeous. They really take care of it. You have to check it out. Have fun!!!
