This was by far our best experience in the Keys. We were in a mixed group including older ladies who had never been kayaking and a young girl who was a bit nervous. Nick, our guide really looked after us and was really knowledgeable about the wildlife. Kayak-dog Buddy was super cute and a real bonus for me! The highlight... More

Our family spent an afternoon kayaking the shallow water and mangroves off Big Pine with Chris. He is a great guide and took good care of all of us - including my 80 year old father. He is very knowledgeable and made our trip a lot of fun.

I rented 2 kayaks for my son and I for a trip to fish on our own. For around $100 each we got the kayaks and all of the gear and bait needed. We fished a shoreline near the marina and caught a few fish. It was an enjoyable time and we learned alot. I will probably go back and... More

This was an awesome adventure with Chris as our guide. I would recommend requesting him for your tour if at all possible. We booked the backcountry tour and it was worth every penny. Chris was super chill and very knowledgable about Big Pine and the surrounding mangroves, channels, and kayaking spots. We saw so much wildlife- rays, sharks, turtles, birds,... More

Lovely paddle through the mangroves and across the water and under the bridge. We saw millions of little (non stinging) jellyfish- they were amazing and everywhere, like art glass. Sadly, our trip leader had little or nothing to say the entire trip, although she did know where to enter and exit the mangroves. We had to ask her about what... More

Spent a morning this week on an eco tour with Chris as our guide. Boated out to some mangrove island and then set loose in kayaks with Chris as the leader. Beautiful weather and calm seas allowed for for great viewing of sharks, turtles and jellyfish. Caught a glimpse of a lovely key deer enjoying the waters! Chris was very... More

My wife and I did the 3 hour kayak tour with Chris Castro. The guys is a "Wildlife Whisperer". He did a great job of taking us to and pointing out all kinds of wildlife both above and below the water. We even got to watch a ray giving birth. Crazy! He went out of his way to ensure that... More

We did the four hour back country trip and Chris was our guide. We had a great time and saw so many interesting sights. While we have quite s bit of kayak experience, we were really interested in getting to the back country region. We had lots of questions for Vhris and he was so informative. Even though the trip... We took the 3 hour kayak tour with Chris and it was brilliant. We joined another couple, so there four of us in total and we each had our own kayak. Chris was great at getting us out on the water quickly and once we had paddled across the water to No Name Key we spent time exploring the mangroves... More
