The beaches here are wonderful and clean. We were there in August! We live in Los Angeles where the water is always cold and strong waves. My kids loved this water and it was warm and easy to swim in!

Bal Harbour is a nice place to visit while in the Miami area. The beaches are nice, the shopping is fun, and the food is great!

What can I say about a clean beach with few people and a lot of service? Nature, sea birds, fish, fishermen, pier, what else?

Bal Harbour Beach is a nice safe beach on the Atlantic coast quite close to Miami and its facilities. The sand is fine and clean and the area is patrolled. The users are a mixture of resdents and visitors from the USA and abroad.

The well maintained beaches here are never over crowded and have delightful walking and riding paths at their edges.

You have great hotels and you have shopping. The best hotel in this area is the St. Regis. Bal Bay is a community of homes across the street from the beach.

You can fly into Miami but most of the time FLL, Fort Lauderdale airport is cheaper. The beach is about half way between both airports so a cab is $20-25 either way.
