Fun for the whole family!
Jul 2021
Rooftop golf at Ryan's was fun for the whole family. Definitely stop at Funnel Cake Factory and get the "Big Daddy" (make your teenage son order it)! Every type of store you can imagine, plus a great beach. Kids loved the beach, wife loved the shopping. I loved the lobster roll! Parking was absolutely terrible but we were there on a holiday weekend so it was expected. Parkmobile app was a big help as everything was metered. Do NOT back into parking spots, they will ticket you.

Typical boardwalk
Jul 2021 • Solo
This is a very nice boardwalk. As expected hotels, concession stands, and gift shops are everywhere. Towards the ends of the boardwalk it's more residential and the boardwalk is more narrow than in the center, which is where most of the shops are. There's an open area with a stage surrounded by shops and concession stands. Because there is beach access many people were coming and going from the beach and washing their feet at faucets for that very purpose. The only issue is the parking. Unless you're at a hotel finding parking is extremely difficult.

Lively Boardwalk with a nice Bandstand
Jul 2021
I visited Rehoboth Beach and the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk in July 2021. I drove here from Ocean City, Maryland and the contrast between the two is interesting. It is important to get good driving directions for Rehoboth Beach. I took the long way on Route 113 to Route 1 South. As you approach Rehoboth Beach, the road branches into Route 1A and Route 1B. I took Route 1B which is the north end of Rehoboth Beach. I was lucky and found parking near the boardwalk on Maryland Avenue. You can use a credit card with the parking meters and I paid $4.50 for 2 hours. I arrived on Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk during sunset and the boardwalk was beautiful. There are many shops and restaurants. The boardwalk was very crowded and lively. It was a Friday night. The highlight was the Bandstand which had live music. The Bandstand is near the boardwalk on a plaza with many shops and restaurants. I enjoyed Rehoboth Beach and plan to go back with my family soon.

Boardwalk OK, Traffic/Parking Awful
Jun 2021 • Couples
As boardwalks go, this one is relatively short but has an adequate number of shops, games of chance, places to eat and arcades to satisfy most people. It’s doesn’t take long to walk it but it’s nicer and calmer than OC, MD.

What’s nice here is all the very nice shops just steps off the boardwalk in the loop coming into Rehoboth. The shops are very nice, local purveyors that will keep you busy much longer than the boardwalk. But the problem here, like other attractions, is that traffic and crowds have become unbearable. Don’t even think about trying to get into Rehoboth on a weekend, holiday or any other time YOU want to go. It’s awful - if you do brave the traffic on Rte. 1 and the long waits in line in town, good luck getting a parking space. The situation here certainly has altered my plans for a return trip.

Love this beach
Jun 2021
What a clean and beautiful beach. This beach is large, goes on for miles. The people enjoying the beach are very courteous which makes a better experience to older(over 40) beach goers. A good place for families also. If you visit you really should download the parking app. It makes it soooo much easier. even if you are only here for one day.

30 minute Parking a scam!
Jun 2021 • Couples
Our first time here and wanted to like this beach town. We rode around the main strip and decided to park and walk around all the shops and stores. The 30 minute pay parking is a scam. See the photo. We purchased it at 6:31 and it expired at 6:51. You do the math. We had very little time to walk around and check out the boardwalk. Oh well, never coming back anyway.

Walk the entire length.

Boardwalk is an easy walk. Must walk the entire length to see all the shops. Very safe. Bike rentals available.

The best boardwalk
Jun 2021 • Family
Rehoboth beach boardwalk is the highlight of the trip. It is clean and wide enough to accommodate a large number of people. There are restrooms, beach umbrella for rent, beach showers to rinse off sand and chairs all along the boardwalk to people watch and relax.

Great Place!
May 2021 • Family
Love the area! Too bad we went over the Memorial Day weekend and the weather ruined our plans. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the beach! So surprised that public restrooms were super clean. Loved to walk a see the stores and all the people. Thank goodness our last day there weather was great and we could enjoy the sun!

Fun
May 2021
The beach was very crowded when we went. It was hard to socially distance but doable. The water was too cold for us southerners to even think about swimming in but the sun and sand and sound of the waves were fabulous! The beach was pretty clean. The boardwalk was not all the way open yet but looked like it was starting to come to life. There were a lot of people out. We enjoyed our stroll in the sun.
