While you may have been here in the summer, or heard about it, some of the best times can be in the winter. The boardwalk attractions are shuttered and there are few people around. Parking is free and when it is clear, the views are...More

A little less hectic than some beaches, Rehobeth Boardwalk and town makes a nice summer excursion. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the vicinity with plenty to explore.

Our hotel was basically on boardwalk so our entire Thanksgiving mini-vacation in Rehoboth Beach was centered on this beautiful ocean-side promenade. Even off season it was a delightful place to walk and enjoy the fresh ocean air. Many businesses were still open. The small but...More

We visited in October when the warm weather was was perfect for a stroll on the Boardwalk. A number of shops were still open and people watching was great. We bought a few small gifts and, of course, some Dolly’s Salt Water Taffy. It was...More

Its an amusing walk once the crowds have dissipated. Pretty much the kinds of shops you would expect.

On the boardwalk there is no limit to the amount of restaurants and snack places, as well the boardwalk is big and is not to much of a tight fit! There are arcades as well!

Priceless. Family fun. Taffy at Dolles. Fries at Thrashers. Dinner at Dogfish Head. I was in shorts but with 4 layers on top and a wool hat and gloves. Warm family times, mostly sunny and an air temp of 37°. Anytime always good times.

Beautiful boardwalk with all sorts of shops and food. Restrooms located very close. And of course, walk right onto an Atlantic beach! It is super duper crowded during the season and there is traffic to contend with, but that's what you should expect for a...More

Most of the stores and restaurants are open until Halloween and then they slowly start to drop off, although a good number are open year round.

Yes, they are a very short walk to the boardwalk. When you're in the area, suggest that you explore Lewes and the nature boardwalk and trail at the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. Ducks and geese are starting to show up.
