We are in town for a lacrosse tournament and wanted to check out a beach between games. Pickering Beach was closer than Rehoboth Beach to where we are staying in Dover so decided to check it out. Wrong choice we should have driven out to...More

Visited this beach on a recent trip to Dover for the NASCAR race. Beach is only 7 miles from the race track. There are several parking spots at the beach access point. There is also a Porta potty there too. We went when tide was...More

Being this far north and in a bay it was what I expected. Relaxing place to just walk along in the sand. It was quiet and nobody bothered us There are parking spots on the north side of the road as you pull up. Port-o-potty...More

If you understand what you are getting into, this beach is interesting. Yes, it is very small and non-resident parking is limited (park to the left as you go in, not on the road that runs parallel to the beach), but I've never seen it...More

Don't waste your time going to this beach as it is private for residents! All the signs at beach indicate that it is illegal to Park and your car will be towed away!

Very quite small beach. I would say this beach is more for fishing or seeing the horseshoe crabs. Not big waves so that is a plus. We did see a small shark while watching the water. Saw people fishing and people that live there walking...More

I love nature and can find beauty in so many places but this was a disappointment. Nothing but piles of dead horseshoe crabs and stinky brown water. It was not a pleasant place for a walk.

Yes, dogs are allowed as long as you keep them on a leash and pick up after them. The sign says no pets, but it is an old sign. Hopefully, the charming town of Little Creek will have a dog park soon, too. They are only... More
