A big park to share family time with. Has a historic old church there and even the original toll from the Merritt Parkway that I remember driving through all the time as a kid.

Beautiful park, well maintained by town and army of dedicated volunteers. Picnic areas, exhibits, festivals, special events, and concerts bring people back to this gem over and over again. One of Stratford's best places to retreat for relaxation and a history lesson.

The Friends of Boothe do an amazing job! Clearly Stratford's most awesome park with something for everyone unless you want to go swimming! No food here so bring your own but you'll love the interesting exhibits and very knowledgeable docents!

My guess is no dogs. Stratford is in the process of creating a Dog Park at Roosevelt Forest. Boothe Park was rejected as a site for that facility but shouted down by park enthusiasts and neighbors. Best to go once... More

June, I believe. The park is beautiful just about any time though. The gardens are well maintained.
