Trails, mountain biking, youth camping with permit, town residents only. About six miles of trails. Nothing too rugged. Nice pavilion with fire place, several fire pits and picnic tables.

Roosevelt Forest is a wonderful fquiet place to walk, or just sit on a bench overlooking the pond. There is a covered pavilion for picnics and walking trails. Not a lot of activities available, but perfect for a short hike or family picnic.

I had no idea that Stratford was more than beaches and river. But this hidden gem for short quick hikes / walks is beautiful. Hard to get lost and there are cute short trails. Good for small kids or someone who doesn't have enough time but wants to get outside!

Not worth the time. Nothing scenic. Simple path through the woods. No parking for anyone from out of town.

This forest is a gem in our town. Many species of trees, cool shade for hiking, a pond and good hiking trails. It's an oasis in the middle of a typical suburban neighborhood.

1. Blue trail is suitable for walking, jogging and biking, and is probably the most maintained of them all. Easily accessible via Pumpkin Ground Rd. 2. Out-of-Towners, park at the end of Pumpkin Ground Rd directly off of Cutspring Road.(free) Must have a Town of Stratford sticker on car to park legally in the main entrance. 3. Red trail is... More
