In an area that's filled with American history, this is a spot that probably gets overlooked. It was built in the 1870s as part of the Pequot Colony and while the Pequot Hotel is long gone, the seasonal chapel built for its summer guests is still going strong almost 150 years later. If you're visiting the area over the summer... More

Beautiful in the summer when they can open all the doors and it is like being outside. Built when this was a part of the Pequot summer colony and as a adjunct to the Pequot House Hotel which burned down in 1900's.

Thoroughly enjoyable! I hope this is an annual event. The organ is magnificent and the Tiffany windows were stunning! It's open from June to Labor Day. Supply clergy every week allows you to experience different denominations.

It is set among beautiful, mature landscaping, has wonderful light and ambiance, and boasts two Tiffany stained glass windows. Sunday services feature an array of diverse and interesting clergy, usually from the area but sometimes as far away... More

Historical chapel. Friendly members. Meaningful service. Well worth the visit. We were married there 31 years ago and return each year. Still charming.

This unique, small, Victorian-era, non-sectarian, wooden chapel is easy to locate on Montauk Avenue. The outside is beautifully decorated in contrasting black and white. Very photogenic. The notice-board indicates that they run Sunday morning services (which, according to their website, are held throughout the summer and on special occasions, such as Christmas).

This chapel date back to 1872, very gothic and beautiful. I have attended many a lovely wedding there (a VERY popular choice around here) and also church services. Each Sunday during the summer brings a different pastor/minister/preacher/reverend (call them what you wish) to perform services.
