Really, he did. During WWII this was the meeting place for the air raid wardens. An olde timey tavern that hasn't changed much since the 1930's. Not outstanding food, but a beer and a hamburger is all you need.

Stop by the bar on a weekday on a business trip. There were only locals in the bar. After a drink or two locals invited us into their conversation. Really enjoyed BSing with the locals. Good Diva bar!

They serve these burgers or cheeseburgers and that's really about it. I think they serve some sandwiches too but the reputation has always been for a beert and a good burger. They are cheap, normal burgers that are fresh and good. The place is SMALL...More
