Nice ethnic neighborhood with lots of charm and character. Multiple high-quality restaurants with lots of options. Classic pizza place Pepe's and Sally's with lines down the street. Plus fun pastry shop Libby's makes for a perfect night out!

Went to this section of New Haven to eat at Frank Pepe's Pizza - a local landmark. We were told to be prepared to wait an hour for a table. Got there at 4:30 on a weekday. No wait. Sat right down with a friendly...More
