The public bring rescue animals to this site where they are cared for until they are well enough to be returned to the wild or to a safe place. It's a beautiful seaside farm with enthusiastic volunteers and we came away with a greater understanding of the work they do

This place is unreal! The work these people do for the animals is something to be proud of. Loved every bit of our visit where we had staff guide and talk to us about every animal.

Nice tour of their facilities, with viewing and interaction with some of their "permanent residents". Super nice people there. You cannot tour the active rehab areas except once each year on Open House day, though.

This is wildlife refuge in 2 parts literally as is it divided by a driveway with animals who will be released into the wild on the right and animals who are to unable to be released on the left Pros You can handle a wide variety of animals including skunk... If you have ever seen the TV show, you know how much work they do at the farm. It is nothing short of amazing. They have an education session that is as good for adults as kids. A great day!

Had so much fun touring the place. Seeing and learning about Nova Scotias wildlife. Amazon people with a strong encouragement on learning. Half of the tour is out side so dress appropriately. A MUST visit!!!

The fact that this place repatriates injured animals back into the wild whenever possible is outstanding. The local residents will change as that is part of the cycle. There are also some permanent fixtures that will not be able to be set free. The tours allow you some insight into the habits of the animals as well as how our... More
