Love it here. So peaceful and yet so close to the city. Great expansive lawns for picnics and the river is totally accessible to a canoe or small boat.

Riverside Park makes for a nice getaway from city stress. Ample parking, upkept playscape, maintained grounds, trees, shade, grass, benches, walkways and helpful Rangers. Everything to make you want to relax.. or natural atmosphere to get those creative thoughts flowing. Nice pathway options: various birds...More

This is a large park at the end of the riverside walk. There are activities for children and adults including a community boathouse. There are portable toilets but unfortunately nowhere to buy food or drink.

Our Family meets here twice yearly for cookouts and meet and greets. So almost 200 gather for laughs, food, and playing cards as well.

A nice place to simply relax and unwind... nice walking trail too. You could bring a lunch, have a picnic, launch a boat as well..

Cute place.. but extremely boring. Unless they have some type of activity going on there is nothing to do here, Only a Subway close, nothing else. pretty view and a place to bring your boat. that's it. I really was expecting something else. Sorry.

Incredible find. Serene environment. Extremely nice walking path hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of the big city and interstate. Very peaceful walk along the Connecticut River. Historic displays along the path. Incredibly large trees. Lots of foliage. Beautiful scenery. Lovely day.

This park doesn't get enough credit, maybe because it's a little out of the way. There is a very active rowing program (including a large regatta in October). There are trails, playing fields, picnic areas, plenty of parking, boat launches and a playground. We spend...More
