We visited the beautiful gardens and park. Can't remember the name. It was early autum, so much of the foliage had gone by. We stayed at the historic Goodwin Hotel, which was terrific. we attended a fabulous wedding in their magnificent courtyard.

I was born in Hartford, and nothing is as indicative of Hartford as a city and soulless vacuum that has sucked all hope from its people like Bushnell Park. On the outside, Bushnell Park seems rather nice. Conveniently located, great views of the amazing Connecticut...More

A good place to walk prior to enjoying the restaurants of downtown Hartford. As the weather changes the park begins to come alive with its carousel and pond.

Dogs are welcome, but there is no off leash area for them. Animals are required to be under control and on a leash at all times, persuant to city and state law.
