This is definitely a child-focused education center in the area of science. Lots of hands-on activities to do for the kids to get a "feel" and "understanding" of science that goes with many things in life. Kids definitely enjoyed it. The time we were there,...More

I have been to other science centers in the USA and this one is definitely focused more on children. Though it was fun and educational for adults.

I took myself and two teen girls and it cost over $80.00 for admission, including a very poor Butterfly Encounter, the room is very small and costs $6.00 admission! The 3D Movie which was the Backyard one, was just so so, I have seen better...More

Lots of hands-on exhibits and interactive displays. Great learning for all ages! Rooftop garden is one of the best (and least crowded) attractions at the museum. Several exhibits were "broken" or under construction during our visit. Butterfly display was a little disappointing (No benches to...More

We took our granddaughter here for a mid-week visit. There are some wonderful things about it but we saw room for improvement. Kids are active here although sometimes it felt a bit chaotic. There is such opportunity for learning but I didn't see anyone actually...More

We took my nephew to The science center and I think we actually enjoyed it just as much as he did. It is chock-full of fun exercises very engaging and interactive. A must do for all Connecticut residents and visitors.
