A wonderful hike up the mountain to have views of Hamden and surrounding towns. There are different trails depending on your level of ability. Worth the trip to the top.

Grew up nearby. Loved to hike and swim here. While no large, it is quiet and a great place for family outings and to picnic.

Sleeping Giant is a very nice state park. There are hiking trails that go for awhile. It is a nice day trip. We bring lunch there with us which we need to hike. Beautiful area. Enjoy going there everytime.
