My husband & I had a wonderful two hour cruise on the CT. River with Captain Mark, Mindy & two other bird experts last Sunday. We were fortunate to have a warm sunny day and even more fortunate to see about 32 eagles. We have done this cruise annually for a few years now but never saw so many birds.... More

We departed from the CT River Museum for 1.5 hour eagle watch cruise. Amazing viewing of both the river and the wildlife. We saw what seems like at least 15 eagle sightings, among many many more bird life sightings. The crew was great and very informative. A really enjoyable ride on the river.

We always enjoy trips on this intimate boat travelling the Connecticut River. The owners of the boat are warm, knowledgeable about the River and very helpful. Make at least a once a year trip to see different aspects of the River.

There is so much great to say about this cruise. Of course, the weather cooperated, and we were lucky to get the last cruise of the season. The owners are so welcoming and gracious, and they really make the trip comfortable for everyone, even letting us know when a passing boat would make a wave. The narrated hour-long trip described... You know that you are on the correct river cruise when you are greeted by friendly staff armed with binoculars for your use! We spent a wonderful afternoon on the Connecticut River on an immaculate boat. We were thrilled to see immature eagles, a harrier hawk and a grebe amongst other wildfowl (yes, birds are still around in late October!).... More

My friend and I were looking to do a cruise but the first one we saw was sold out(and more expensive!). So, I researched and found CT River Expeditions. They did not disappoint. It was a beautiful ride along the river, with beautiful views of Gillette Castle, eagles, osprey, homes, and fall foliage. The crew was very educated and super... More

We've been on two cruises. One of the winter eagle cruises and most recently the swallow cruise. The guides were fantastic, boat is clean and comfortable, binoculars for everyone. We brought snacks and libations. The birding was fantastic 15 immature Eagles, herons, osprey, egrets, kingfishers geese, commorants and the best seeing the swallows. Highly recommend.

my wife and i had the most enjoyable afternoon cruise on the Ct. River, we saw eagles, osprey, cormorant, mergansers, a few ducks and a lot of beautiful waterfront; our captain and his mate were dead on with their commentary, and had all their fact's right on the money. we would take this trip again any time.

We received a gift certificate for a Riverquest cruise for Christmas, and used it in August. What a wonderful, relaxing way to spend the afternoon! The "crew" was so familiar with the area, pointing out the flora and fauna along the way, as well as the local sites to see. A local character, the "Horn Man" did not disappoint...he greeted... What a treat! We organized this quite last-minute, but Mindy was so helpful. Even though there was only one space left to reserve, she accommodated both of us. This was so much more than a sunset cruise (even though the sunset was very pretty). Saw many interesting birds (bald eagles, Ospreys, cormorants, great blue herons etc) on our way down... More
