You need it. They've got it. Bulbs, bulbs and more bulbs loving for naturalising your gardens as I did with bluebells amongst the plumbago and plums. Tulips and others in pots, dull brown pots are alive with new bulbs. Looks good if you want one colour scheme in your garden or all the fragrance of freesias in the old fashioned... More

Wow, wow, wow! What a colorful spectacle! Get in during the right Spring period in the Melbourne hills and you will be greeted by a sea of colours from various blooming varieties. That September we were at the "Tulip Farm", it was amazingly blanketed in a sea of colours .... I never knew such joy to be amongst such colorful... More

This had been on my bucket list for several years and I finally did it! The day unfolded to sun, a (very good) Jazz Festival and lots and lots and lots of brilliantly coloured Tulips. Tesselaar's are obviously fairly practised at this. They invited in food and coffee trucks. They also set up a sculpture competition and the art works... More

The tulip festival starts in September and goes on till around November. There are special themed events planned for certain weekends (such as Irish weekend, Dutch weekend, etc) and these add a nice festival atmosphere to the place. Better to check their site for what events are planned for the weekends each year and plan your visit to coincide with... More

Well who doesn't want to walk, or run, amongst the flowers? The tesselaar tulip festival gives you the chance to do that. There are lots of great colours and great smells and the food is pretty good too. Couple of hours is plenty so plan you day towards the end of the day and that way if you are there... More

After paying $25 yes $25 entry each. all we experienced was Mud Mud and more Mud....very unsafe and lots of people slipping and falling?..Why have they not made it safe by putting crushed rock or some other non slip surface to make it safe for people...Also food stalls very over priced ....Worst day ever and cost a fortune.!!!!
