Here for vacation, short visit but do-able as it is fairly small. Lots of things to see. Lots of hands on for the kids to enjoy. All indoors. The gift shop was quite large.

This was a lot of fun for my two boys! They loved seeing all the staged exhibits. The area where they show the fossil cleaning is wonderful.

This is a small private dinosaur museum that we’ve now visited twice. We’ve enjoyed and learned something new each time we’ve been here. Their real business is cleaning and preparing fossils, which they then make casts of and sell to museums and other institutions. So...More

The RMDRC is one of my favorite paleontology museums in Colorado, even better than the Denver Museum. Most of the skeletons are casts (plastic replicas), but show how cool some dinosaurs of the Cretaceous period really are. The first area is very large and contains...More

Pictures with the plastic exhibits outside... great! Viewing fish fossils... awesome. Pics with real Dino skeletons inside... priceless! It takes 2 hours to do the museum properly. Archeology at work, in session and actively cleaning and preserving real stuff. Never saw anything like it outside...More
