The Vasquez Peak Wilderness Area offers a beautiful drive very close to Winter Park, CO. The gravel road is well maintained. This is where you are truly in the mountains.

When you reach the top at 11,060 feet, you are presented with amazing panoramic views of the mountains. It is on the Continental Divide so there is plenty of snow.

Great place to go and hike. Beautiful views and scenery. Had a great trip hiking with a group of 5 guys. Would recommend going to this area when visiting Winter Park.
