It's hard to find words to describe something so beautifully made. The story of the builder is amazing and only adds to the the charm of this place. My husband and I went to the top of each staircase and took amazing pictures. I can't...More

Bishops Castle is clearly one of the most unique places you will see in Colorado. You park on the side of the road and walk into the property. Construction continues and you will generally see something new on almost every visit. More adventurous folks can...More

Bishop Castle is a popular spot and a very interesting place to visit for adults and children. It looks like a building from a Harry Potter movie, very eccentric just like the man who constructed it over 40 years ago, you won't be disappointed.

A must see! Incredible construction and features designed and built by one man. Scary at the very top.

A cool place, albeit with lots of strange signs. Amazingly done and beautifully intricate architecture. Well worth the stop here. I went inside and took a bunch of different staircases up into the walkways.

So this is one of those places that is not a bucket list item but it's still worth the time to go or to make the time to go. You need to go with an open mind and for the beauty of the area it's...More

The property was an ongoing construction site at the time I was there,( June of 2016). I would think you could manage, just beware of screws, nails, and other hazards that might litter the property. Not sure how the owner... More
