I am so glad we stopped here. This monument is a reminder of a somber piece of American history. The names of the men, women, and children murdered are listed and there is a timeline of events leading up to unions and the rights workers...More

I've driven by the signs that point to the Ludlow Massacre many times over the years but this time decided to stop to learn about a time in history I knew nothing about. I found a memorial site out in the middle of nowhere that...More

We first visited the Ludlow site in the 1980's. The last few years, my wife kept saying we need to stop again and that we did on this trip through Colorado. We noted some changes over the last 30 years, and were sad to learn...More

A very important piece of history. It should be on everyone's to do list if you are traveling that way. It offers a lot of good information. It explains what lead to the massacre, the massacre itself, and then what happened afterwards in the country...More

This important monument needs to seen by all who work for a living. The mindsets of the psychopathic persons responsible for this violence, are STILL with us. This mentalily, of those who killed innocents, seemingly morphed into real estate brokers and land developers, along with...More

For some reason, we had a hard time finding this. Be sure to consult a map. A very beautiful memorial. Worth the stop.

It can be tempting to bypass small, out-of-the-way historical sites, but this one is definitely worth taking the time to track down. We took our time and were very impressed with the site. I wish I had brought my kids there when they we're younger.

Everyone interested in Colorado history or in the labor movement or in the current plight of Working Families should stop and experience this Memorial. At least twenty-three men, women, and children were massacred here. It is just a hundred yards or so off the interstate...More

Doesn't stand out like it should, if you cross the railroad tracks, you have gone too far. Great memorial to a tragic time in Colorado history. The UMWA did a good job preserving this site.
