So, Vail has always been known for world-class skiing. The new Epic Discovery program turns Vail into a 4-season resort. Well worth a trip (especially during the winter).

We are Texans that love to ski. We found our place at Vail. This mountain is huge and beautifully designed to offer all levels of runs for miles and miles. The town feels like a Swiss village. We will always consider this our home away...More

Iconic mid Vail. Have skied all over and hiked all over--the views are stellar, great place to rest, sit out a winter/spring storm, push on for a summer hike to the top. Grab a snack or lunch. Beautiful big bowl.

Temperatures in the 50's will not melt all the snow. Hopefully the lows will be in the 30's. The top of the mountain is 11,500 above sea level so it will be colder there than in town or at the base. Toward the end of the... More

Double Diamond, Skibase, Vail Sports are all within 100 yards of the gondola. But remember - this is Vail; it ain't cheap! Look online and in the village booklets for offers.
