It was a 30 minutes hike down to the waterfall from the parking area. Stairs can be quite steep at some areas. Wear waterproof jacket with hood and pant if you're planning to hike to the waterfall or get ready to get soaked by the waterfall mist. Rocks near the fall areas were slippery so be careful with your steps.... More

A good way to spend a few hours there for the good view of the waterfall accompanied by cool breeze with stalls selling food and souvenirs before approaching the highlight. We went there by car, so we have to pay once when we drive in and another time when walking down to the waterfall. I am not sure if the... More

This waterfall looks dry from afar and make me feels disappointed at first, but when i reach waterfall the scenery turn to be very rich in color and really refreshing. Personally it was not worthed with the effort driving from medan to see this, the stepping was very dirty and a lot of teenager trowing garbage there.

Nice cool weather of about 20 degree Celsius. To have a closer view of the Waterfall, walk down a path (some parts have broken steps and can be quite steep, so do wear comfortable shoes). It takes about 20 mins. Somewhere along the start of the steps, a cleaner stopped us to ask for a fee (Rp 2000) to walk... More

Famous attraction with the local, the facility need to be improved especially on the stairs for safety of the visitor. Vandalism and rubbish are everywhere. Such a great workout stepping down and climbing the stairs. It feels so satisfied when reaching the bottom of the waterfall. Great view!

Spiso Piso means ans knife like or just to mean that in is a razor sharp waterfall. It is a very tall waterfall though. We went to the parking area, but did not go down to the waterfall due to the time limitation. But it is evidently a very popular spot as it draws massive crowd. Bur it is a... More
