Easy short walk down a paved path to get to the falls. It was beautiful with the aspens blooming all around. Very short drive from downtown Steamboat. Definitely worth a visit.

We did the overlook trail as the other trails were icy & the views were gorgeous. Must see & good photo opportunities too

Amazing site to see. Short 1/4 mile downhill “hike” to see falls! Hike back out wasn’t terrible. Neatly maintained trails. Totally worth it!

Spent a few days in Steamboat on a brief vacation. We spent the first morning at Fish Creek Falls. If you're out that way take some time to enjoy it as well as the Strawberry Hills hot springs

This is an easy short hike with the trail handicapped accessible. The Falls were beautiful and well worth the short hike. There were picnic tables along the trail. The trail continues beyond the falls and is more strenuous.

My husband and I went here the day after a light dusting of snow - and it was gorgeous! Neither of us are really in shape (and I'm 7 months pregnant) but the hike to the lower falls was just .25 miles. Going to the...More

Trail is part of the Routt National Forest. I would check with them first.
