We took a break from skiing during our vacation to Steamboat Springs to visit Fish Creek Falls, and it was a great decision! It was an easy drive from where we were staying (near the ski slopes), and we had great views after a short...More

In the summer on a beautiful day as you approach the falls you begin to feel its refreshing breeze that it produces. You can feel the rush of cooled air and feel the power of the rushing water. Its awesome and worth the short walk.

A short but pretty drive from town, this is a must to visit for any nature lover/hiker. Ample parking, small entrance fee and a not too difficult trail. Several great spots to get photos of the Falls and the view from the bridge is spectacular....More

Highly recommend visiting the falls, and if you have the opportunity to visit it at different times of the year do it. It changes and is always beautiful.

We went in January so snow on ground but it was still a beautiful trail and scenery. A family park with hiking and trails.

To the falls is a very short walk . It was nice to take the dogs on the snow path and deep snow but there is not much than that , at least in winter . Summer looks like a fun place to do picnic

Beautiful hiking area. Free to public. Not a hard hike but wouldn't recommend for people with disabilities The waterfall was frozen over but still worth the hike. I'm sure it beautiful during warmer weather but still amazing in the winter.

Beautiful - the hike is easy to find. We took snowshoes but the trail was packed down enough that they were really unnecessary. Most people were hiking in just their snow boots. We had a couple of young kids with us so unfortunately we only...More

Trail is part of the Routt National Forest. I would check with them first.
