Overview
More
Old Town Hot Springs is an historic all-natural hot spring and recreational facility in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs. It is family friendly and has been the place for recreation and rejuvenation for visitors and locals alike for over 100 years. The swimming and soaking pools served as a gathering and bathing place for the Ute Indians who first settled in the area. Then in the late 1800s, it was a social spot and a bathing place for the early homesteaders. Old Town Hot Springs sits at an elevation of 6,700 feet and offers eight pools, including two 230-foot waterslides, a 3,000 square foot hot activity pool, an aquatic rock climbing wall, the historic Heart Spring pool, eight lap lanes, and massage. We also have a full fitness center with over 45 classes each week, including aqua fitness classes, yoga, spin, Pilates, BodyPump, Zumba, and more. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit, multi-use complex open seven days a week, year-round.

Crowded after the slopes close, so crowded in fact that its like bumper cars. Always fun but but a better time might duning the ski day before all of the kids get to the pool.

Disappointing place so give it a miss and go straight to Strawberry Park. Pools are not hot enough and its more of a public pool than a hot spring vibe.

Hot springs at a city pool. Slide was fun for kids and the climbing wall for adults and kids was fun. It is a large pool facility open to the public with lots of locals who go regularly. There are different temp hot tubs around...More

We went on a day that it was snowing so that made the experience neat. It did not feel like a hot spring at all, more like a heated city pool. We wanted to get the most out of our $18 per ticket so we...More

After visiting the Strawberry Park springs, we decided that we should give the other “hot springs” in Steamboat a try. We were very disappointed. The Old Town Springs were seriously a glorified public pool. If we wanted to sit in a hot tub, we should...More

Lower rates after 7:45 pm so that is when we went- not crowded. Get a locker for 50 cents and take your own towel - they do rent towels. Wear crocks or flip flops or water shoes to avoid walking on the cold and sometimes...More

Yes, they actually have a chair that one can sit in , that swings you out and into pool. Just inform the desk when you check in. You will get all the help you need.
